Sanjeevani Hospital by JSW in Alibaug is a Multi-Specialty that’s home to many locals and distant travelers seeking healing. Perhaps that’s why we gravitated towards this project with Gond strokes and eager reverence. With Gond as the leading art, we added touches of cane, copper, and Tholu Bommalata - a leather puppetry artform that comes from Andhra Pradesh. Through this art, we’ve depicted the scene of Hanuman in Hindu mythology bringing the entire mountain of Dronagiri when sent to fetch the Sanjeevani herb

Meanwhile, through the use of Gond, we’ve depicted scenes of the Mangroves to pay homage to the setting inside of which the hospital sits. It is, after all, the dance of art and nature that heals the inner soul. Finally, with copper and cane, we’ve studded the many sweeping murals and portraits with gorgeous lights. Through the many artful Baaya touches we’ve managed to transform the entire space into something that may heal the body and the mind. The project was under the conceptual framework provided by SJK Architects.
